Kili[Man]jaro Challenge 2009 (February/March)
There are only a few people in the world who will:
• summit Kilimanjaro (5895 m) over 6 days (this is not raced)
• compete in a two day mountain bike race around Kilimanjaro (246 km) and
• finish the Kilimanjaro Marathon (42,2 km).
The one with the fastest summerized time on the bike race and the marathon sections will be the KiliMAN!
The event is managed by Chagga Tours (www.chagga-tours.com).

This is the Challenge I have set for myself for 2009. I am sure there will be many smaller pre-events to build up the character of my training program and without a doubt there will be more to come after competing in this event.
Hierdie is die doelwit wat ek vir myself gestel het vir 2009. Ek is seker dat daar menigte kleiner vooraf sessies sal wees om die karakter van my oefen skedule op te bou en sonder enige twyfel sal daar meer wees om na uit te sien as ek klaar gekompeteer het in hierdie Uitdaging.
